Mukhtar al-Hadith al-Sharif

This is a beginner's book comprising of a selection of 59 sayings (ahadith) of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ  for every Muslim, young and old. The sayings were carefully selected by the esteemed scholar, Habib 'Umar bin Hafiz, because of their concise wordings for easy memorisation, understanding and application in our lives. This selection was taken from another hadith book, "Shifa' As-Saqim", by his teacher, the erudite scholar, Habib Muhammad bin 'Abdullah al-Haddar.

The brief notes in this book were compiled with the intention to develop love in readers for the words of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . His ﷺ  concise words carry immense knowledge and deeper meanings, providing guidance and light to his community. We hope that by studying this book, we will come to see the beauty of the words of our Prophet Muhammad manifest in our daily lives and go beyond to deepen our knowledge on more ahadith.
